Medical care in the Euregio Meuse-Rhine (EMR) has the potential to provide exemplary patient care through cross-border cooperation and the exchange of expertise. The foundation stone of such exemplary patient care and safety is based on comprehensive and multiprofessional training of healthcare professionals. Within the COMPAS project, we will develop qualification modules on topics of patient safety, resilience, innovation and leadership and thus lay the foundation for a safe and exceeding healthcare in the EMR.

Based on your input, the Universities of Aachen, Liège and Maastricht develop training modules to improve safe patient care and promote the health of (future) healthcare professionals.
We will improve patient safety and ameliorate cross-border collaboration and the working experience of healthcare professionals in the EMR.
We are on a mission to establish a blueprint for a consecutive study program to train healthcare professionals in patient safety measures and resilience with an interdisciplinary approach.
